Console Configuration

Rule Engine belongs to the service component of a product in IoT Suite. Please go to Product Details Page -> Rule Engine to configure rules.

Please click on Add Rule to set Rule Name, Message Source, Query Field, Matching Conditions and Message Destination.

Currently, the following types of message sources are supported:

  • Device data point message: new data points uploaded by device

  • Device lifecycle event: creation, deletion, online and offline event messages throughout device lifecycle

  • Device image properties update event: device image properties update event message (coming soon)

Query Field and Matching Conditions jointly define SQL statements. Please refer to SQL Statements.

Currently, the following services are supported by Message Destination:

  • Message queue (MQ)

  • Short message Service (SMS)

  • Storage Service (coming soon)
