Fire Detection And Alarm System for Elderly People Living Alone in Hangzhou
In September 2017, Hangzhou branch of China Mobile, taking the empty nest elderly's residence in Jianqiao Street, Jianggan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province as a pilot, firstly introduced the interconnected early fire detection and alarm system based on NB-IoT (narrowband Internet of Things) technology. In the first phase of the project, a total of 2,000 people living alone in empty nests and disabled and mentally handicapped adopts “1+1+1” mode, that is, each household installs one smoke detection alarm, one temperature detection alarm, and one gas detection alarm. Meanwhile, the alarm system is docked with the elderly people’s mobile phone working background channel. The system will send the situation to the elderly people’s mobile phone work background instantly when situation happens in the elderly people’s residence, and the responsible social worker and elderly family will be notified by the background to ensure that nothing is lost.
